On to the next task...

Once we'd completed our Group Assessment, we moved on to our Independent Assessment. 

My original idea was to write a composition for a 4 part harmony. Given that I am part of a choir in my hometown, this seemed like a good idea. 

In choir, we have sang quite a few pieces by the same composer, John Rutter, so I decided to do some research of John Rutter's compositions. 

When looking for John Rutter's writing inspirations, to give me an idea of what he looks at for inspiration when composing, I found this post by Classicfm.
